About the location
Polderhaan sits in a peaceful landscape of meadows and wide ditches. The far horizon and the open space inevitably draw your eye to the often spectacular cloud formations above. This is the perfect place to escape the busy city and treat yourself to a wonderful moment of calm.
In the centre of the site you can play a round of pétanque with fellow camper guests or simply share travel stories.
The owners
In the spring of 2019 we, Jos and Jacqueline van Egmond, set out to build and design Polderhaan. With great enthusiasm we created a camper site with a complete set of facilities, a welcoming common room and a book-exchange library.
Our dream is to offer a friendly, accessible and relaxed camper site where our guests can truly unwind and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Whether you are looking for relaxation, peace and quiet, historic places, the most scenic walking and cycling routes, or lively and sociable activities — Polderhaan and its versatile area offer it all.

Green energy
Our solar panels generate enough electricity for us to run energy-neutral. With the addition of a 102 kW battery we can also use the daytime power throughout the evening and night, making us far less dependent on the grid. A solar boiler heats the shower water, so we can almost entirely do without natural gas.
